What HailBrief is

HailBrief produces informational weather-history reports for specific addresses using public government data sources and radar-derived hail indicators. Reports document what those sources recorded; they are not inspections and not observations made at the property by HailBrief.

No professional determination

Reports do not determine insurance coverage, causation, damage, repair scope, replacement cost, code compliance, or legal obligations, and do not create an adjuster, engineering, meteorological, or other professional relationship. You are responsible for reviewing report outputs and pairing them with inspection findings, claim documents, and professional judgment before relying on them.

Data limitations and warranty disclaimer

Weather datasets can be incomplete, delayed, spatially imprecise, or revised by their publishers, and radar-derived hail size is an estimate rather than a direct measurement. THE SERVICE AND ALL REPORTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Payment, delivery, and refunds

Paid orders are processed by Stripe; we do not hold your full card details. Delivery timing may depend on geocoding, source availability, and third-party services. If a report cannot be generated for an address you paid for, we will refund that order. Because reports are delivered digital goods, completed and delivered reports are otherwise non-refundable unless required by law.

Acceptable use

You may not misrepresent report contents or weather data, remove attribution or disclaimers from a report, automate abusive request volumes, resell reports without written permission, or submit information you are not authorized to process.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HailBrief, INSPEKTiT, and Keystone Systems LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or any report, and our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the report giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Keystone Systems LLC and its affiliates from claims arising out of your use of reports in violation of these terms or applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes lies in the state or federal courts of Texas.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance.
